Thomas Tuchel unsure if Mauro Icardi will start for depleted PSG against Real Madrid

Whether Mauro Icardi is fit enough to begin in Wednesday’s Champions League clash paris Saint-Germain head trainer Thomas Tuchel is uncertain.
Has been ruled out while Brazilian Neymar is suspended wounded together with France ahead Kylian Mbappe.
Icardi, who combined PSG on a season-long loan from Inter Milan earlier this month, would start up front but Tuchel is unsure about his illness as the Argentine just played an hour up to now this season, coming on as a substitute in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Strasbourg.
“I really don’t know exactly how fit he is,” Tuchel stated. “I don’t understand how long he can perform, perhaps he should begin or maybe Eric Choupo-Moting will start. Everybody knows we overlook a few strikers but that I hope the players that I need for this game.”
The French champions return by Manchester United at the round of 16 final season to the European stage for the first time since their removal.
Tuchel was eager to play down the value of the visit of 13-time European champions Real.
“This match will not decide everything. I need us to play our game, harshly and play to win,” Tuchel said.
“We have put last year behind us and we’re looking ahead. We have made changes, you will find new players and we have gained experience.”
