Macclesfield Town players and staff not paid September wages

Macclesfield Town staff and players have revealed they have yet to be paid their September salary by the club.
The Sky Bet League Two club had issues last season, and the players released a statement stating they were worried about suffering a fate very similar to Bolton and Bury.
The statement read:We players and staff in Macclesfield Town Football Club sorrow to advise that last years issues regarding payment of salary to ourselves and staff have re-occurred once again.
Saddened by the information of Bury and Boltons staff and players, we feel that the need to release this statement earlier we find ourselves in a similar situation as theres [sic].
Were now pleading with EFL to help Macclesfield Town as a football club to not end up at precisely the identical place as what Bury Football Club have found themselves .
As players and staff, we stay committed and professional to honor our contracts under these extremely difficult conditions for ourselves and our families
Macclesfield Town, who declined to comment on the subject has been contacted by sky Sports.
17th in the League Two table lies, before Saturdays trip to Cambridge United.
